The competition is a site to unite people from all cultures and ethnicities, and its mission is to allow dancers to become innovative artists with the motivation to reach their full potential.

This season's Grand Prix Finals will take place in the dynamic city of Miami at the South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center from May 8–11, 2022. Dance Open America is delighted to announce that its Artistic Award 2022 for Excellence and Extraordinary Career will be presented to Ben Stevenson, Texas Ballet Theater's own artistic visionary and an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.), during the event.
