SMDCAC Rental Request Process

Once the completed rental request form is received, within five (5) days you will be contacted to confirm your request followed by the issuance of a Letter of Intent (LOI). This LOI must be signed and returned to our office within 10 business days, accompanied by a $500 non-refundable deposit. This will provide you with an official “Hold” for a date at the Center.

No “Holds” will be issued until a formal Letter of Intent (LOI) has been executed by the parties and the appropriate deposit(s) delivered to and accepted by the South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center.

“Holds” are subject to challenges. “Holds” must execute a Lease Agreement no less than 180 days prior to your event.

Once a Rental Request From is received, Lessee may choose to directly execute a Lease Agreement.

REQUIRED INSURANCE:
Commercial general liability insurance, on an occurrence form, in the amount of One Million ($1,000,000.00) Dollars per occurrence for bodily injury, death, property damage, and personal injury naming Miami-Dade County as additional insured. Workers' compensation and employer's liability coverage as required by Florida Statute 440.
