(MIAMI, September, 2017) – South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center kicks off the season on Friday, October 14 at 7pm with a FREE outdoor music concert. Kick off the Center’s 2017-2018 season with the return of our popular Backyard Bash on the Concert Lawn. Enjoy live music by Roosevelt Collier's Phunk Phactory, The Lee Boys, DJ Trooklyn and other artists as well as craft beers and eats! Between the music explore the Center’s many performance spaces, meet our staff, look through our season schedule, and secure seats for your favorite upcoming shows!

BEER PACKAGE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE - $25 beer package (per person) in advance; $30 day of. Beer package includes eight (8) 10-ounce beers. Those not purchasing a beer package can still buy individual beer tickets for $4 each.

Appropriate for all ages. Food and drinks are available for purchase. Bring lawn chairs and blankets. No coolers permitted. Space is limited. All patrons entering the theater require a ticket regardless of age. This includes children and infants.
The South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center is managed by the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, with funding support from the Office of the Miami-Dade County Mayor and Board of County Commissioners. The Center is dedicated to presenting and supporting arts and culture and providing access to the arts to the entire Miami-Dade County community.
